The large number of conductors and the manner in which they are grouped increases the strength and conductivity of this tape. The electrical filaments are now grouped together in three bands, one group is positioned on the edges of the tape and one in the middle. This improves the strength on the edges reducing wind flap and the constant contact of the filaments increases conductivity and maintains the individual filaments as a conductor should it get broken.

All other tapes have the filaments situated parallel and individually across the tape so when a break occurs that filament no longer carries current so reducing the conductivity of the tape as a whole from that point on. The tapes are supplied with a 3 year warranty*
