There is a Copycat rope on the market that looks identical to this quality rope but it does not have a performance close to the Hotstop Rope. The picture below shows the two side by side. The copy on the left has lost its colour and has been affected by the UV rays after ONLY 18 months in the sun. It is brittle, fraying, falling apart and totally useless. The genuine article on the right is after 14 months and shows no sign of degradation.
