1. This is a very portable unit that is simple and very easy to use by connecting to an external 12v battery.
2. The Rodeo runs at a higher voltage than standard energisers but does not compromise the safety of the electric fencing concept.
3. This is particularly suitable when horses are blanketed as these often act as insulators allowing horses to avoid the fence.The higher voltage will overcome this giving you greater peace of mind.
4. The unit sits on an earth stake with the necerssary connections supplied but the 12v battery is not supplied.
5. The control light flashes red when the battery power drops to below 10v and needs charging.
6. Draws just 85 milliAmps - a 100 aH Leisure battery may last 1150 hours*
