Great Anti Fox Fencing

The hotShock A8 is a small unit ideal for back gardens and small allotments where an enthusiast is keeping a few hens. The hotShock range have been designed to be highly effective against the insulating qualities of Deer hair and Sheeps wool. Foxes, Badgers and Wild Boar are effectively excluded thus providing this excellent predator control. The normal safety features of Electric Fencing is not compromised in any way.

1. The hotShock A8 is a 12v battery powered energizer used for insensitive animals.
2. The high running voltage (7500v) enables the current to bridge the natural insulating qualities of difficult groups of wildlife. This high current also assists in fence maintenance by burning off weeds touching the wires.
3. In the search for food predators have to overcome different obstacles and the most difficult is fear of humans. A shock from a sub-standard electric fence is not a problem for a lactating mother, a hungry, wounded or old predator to crawl or jump through the fence.
4. A carnivore has to learn to respect an electric fence and the operational efficiency must be high for electric fencing to repel the carnivore penetration. If a fence lacks operational efficiency then animals will soon overcome their "fear of the fence" and it may take several weeks of training to re-block them.
5. This unit sits on an earthstake, also all necessary connection cables are supplied. A 12v battery is NOT supplied. The control light flashes red when the battery power drops to below 10v and needs charging.
6. Draws just 85 milliAmps so a 100 aH battery may last 1150 hours.*
