New Cordless Horse Clipper Heiniger have built on their worldwide reputation for large animal clippers and now offer a very compact unit to compliment their more powerful range. The Saphir is one of the few professional cordless small animal clippers supplied with two batteries available. The Saphir is a delightfully lightweight clipper - a mere 0.44kg - even with battery attached, under 205mm/8-inches. Perfectly balanced, comfortable to hold and operate whether in a male or female hand - the clipper body casing is shaped to give a slimmer grip just were you hold it. The powerful 35 watt motor has a soft motor note associated with high quality Swiss engineering. Remarkably free of vibration, its motor supplies 2650 cyclic strokes per minute. The Saphir is ideally suited to those owners with one horse to clip and the two Lithium-ion batteries supplied allows continuous clipping. Combined they allow about 110 minutes of clipping without recharging. A battery may be recharged in 45 minutes whilst the other is being used. As with most detachable blade machines the Saphir can be used with existing detachable A5 type blades including those of Oster, Andis, Aesculap, Moser and Wahl manufacture, as well as the newly created range of fifteen blades currently available from Heiniger.
