Stop Deer from infiltrating your land, flower beds and vegetable gardens with this Electric Fencing kit.
These kits will protect your flowers and vegetables, or whole garden, from devastation by Deer intrusion. These exclusion fences have been supplied to English Nature to exclude deer from forest regeneration areas. The posts are 155cm tall above ground and sufficient twine is supplied for 6 lines of fencing for the length of fencing ordered, 100, 200 or 400 metres, (110, 220 or 440 yards.) Ring insulators are used on the ends or in corners. Twine connectors and a tester are included.
The 12v hotShock energizer has been specially developed to use on wild animals that have good insulating features as deer possess. It has an output in excess of 8000v to overcome the deer’s natural insulation yet it is still only 1.3 joules strong with a low amperage. It will give the deer a good, safe sting to stop them trespassing where you don’t want them. This unit should be run off a leisure battery, but a car battery may be used.
A pack of Bait Caps are supplied so all you need is some neat Apple cordial to pour in to boost the efficacy of the fence. This encourages the deer to test and investigate the fence prior to jumping over. The “bee” sting on the nose is highly effective and deer seldom return to the fence.
Sufficient equipment is supplied to erect a six strand fence 100m long. The height is 1.55m above ground. The Kit includes;-
